The President of the United States of America – Donald Trump has reportedly replied Pope Francis who earlier criticized him saying he is not a Christian.
Recall that Pope Francis had recently described Donald Trump as ‘a non-Christian’, to that effect, president Trump gave him an unexpected response.
MYTECH disclosed that Trump in his response to the Pope warned him about the Islamic State, whose goal according to Trump, is to get to the Vatican.
Trump in his statement said, “If and when the Vatican is attacked, the pope would only wish and have prayed that I would have been elected President”.
Reports stated that before the Pope’s arrival at the Mexican border, President Trump had frowned on the visit, describing him as a politician and accused him of acting at the behest of the Mexican government.
Trump according to report stated, “I think that the pope is a very political person”.
The Catholic pontiff in response to Trump’s comment laughed and said, “Thank God he said I was a politician because Aristotle defined the human person as animal politicus”.
Lastly he said, “So, at least I am a human person. As to whether I am a pawn, well, maybe, I don’t know. I’ll leave that up to your judgment and that of the people”.
